Garden Delight Sandwich





Ingredients -

Bread - 1 big pack (20 slices)
Butter -2-3 tbsp
Cheese spread - 3-4 tbsp
Tomato ketchup - 3-4 tbsp
Coriander chutney - 3-4 tbsp
Carrot grated - 1 cup
Cheese grated - 1/2 cup
Tomato cut in  slices - 2 med
cucumber cut in slices - 1
Lettuce - 2-3 leaves







Method -

1. Take the breads and remove edges from all four sides.
2. Apply cheese spread on four of the breads. Place lettuce and tomato slices over it. After that place four more breads over tomato and lettuce.
3. Spread coriander chutney on those four breads, arrange cucumber slices over the chutney spread breads.
4. Spread butter on four breads and arrange it over the cucumber slices. Spread grated cheese over it.
5. Apply tomato ketchup on remaining four of the breads and arrange it on top of grated cheese. Spread grated carrot over it liberally.
6. Close it with last of the remaining breads, after applying butter on it.
7. Garnish it with remaining grated carrot, cheese and cucumber.
8. You can use any vegetables and salad of your own choice.
9. The size of the sandwich could be cut down by using less breads if you want a smaller one.

10.  This whole sandwich is best for little gatherings , picnics or b'day parties.






STEP-WISE INSTRUCTIONS

 Apply cheese spread on four breads.
  
 Place lettuce and tomato slices over it.

Place four breads over tomato and lettuce 
 
Apply coriander chutney n place cucumber slices over it.

Place four breads over cucumber slices n spread 
butter n grated cheese.  

place four breads over cheese n apply tomato
 ketchup n grated carrot.


  Close it with last of the four breads, apply butter n garnish it accordingly.

Fried Salami Sandwich

  

Ingredients -

Butter - 2 tsp
Salami - 6 slices
Bread - 4 slices
Tomato - 1
Mayonnaise - 2 tbsp
Lettuce - 2-3
Mustard sauce - 1 tbsp




 Method -

1. Melt little butter in a skillet or tawa. Put in slices of salami, saute
until they are a little bit brown and crispy.
2. Apply butter on all the breads.
3. Place lettuce on one of the bread.
4. Apply tomato ketchup on the second bread and arrange it over the lettuce. Place tomato slices over it.
5. Apply mayonnaise on the third bread and arrange it with salami slices over the  bread with tomato slices.
6. Close it with fourth bread and it's ready to serve.
7. Serve it with mustard sauce or you can spread it on one of the breads.

Cheese N Carrot Sandwich



Ingredients -

 
Brown bread - 6 pieces
Cheese grated - 1/2 cup
Carrot grated - 1/2 cup
Butter - 2 tbsp
Cheese spread - 2 tbsp
Black pepper powder  - 1/2 tsp
Tomato ketchup - 4 tbsp


                                
 


Method -

1. Take all the breads and trim the edges off it.
2. Spread butter on one bread and cheese spread on the other one.
3. Spread tomato ketchup liberally over both the breads.
4. Spread grated cheese over the buttered bread and grated carrot over the cheese spread, sprinkle pepper powder over it.
5. Arrange both the breads in layers. Apply butter and tomato ketchup on the third bread and close the sandwich. Many layers can be made according to your choice.
6. Prepare more sandwiches with the remaining breads in the same manner and
slice all diagonally.
7. Enjoy this tasty and healthy sandwich in breakfast or pack it in tiffin for the kids.

                      Arrange all n close it with the third bread        
                             Slice it diagonally n serve it

Chicken Sandwich with Cole Slaw


Ingredients - 

 
Chicken boneless - 200g
Pepper - 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder - 1/4 tsp
Salt - 1/4 tsp
Green chillies minced - 2
Butter - 1 tbsp
Brown bread - 8 pieces

For the slaw -

Cabbage shredded - 1
Capsicum finely chopped - 1/4 cup
carrot grated - 1/4 cup
Mayonnaise - 3 tbsp
White vinegar - 1 tsp
granulated sugar - 1/4 tsp
Salt - 1/2 tsp



Method -

1.Wash all the vegetables before cutting them and drain it nicely.
Place it in a bowl after chopping them. Add mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, salt and mix all thoroughly. Your cole slaw is ready. It can be used in many dishes.

2.Boil the chicken until cooked. Cut it into small pieces and apply salt, pepper, red chilli powder and green chillies on it. Heat a frying pan and spread 1/2 tsp butter on it and saute the chicken for 5 minutes.

3.Remove the edges from the bread and apply butter on it. Take one bread and spread cole slaw on it evenly. Place chicken on top of the slaw and sandwich it with the other bread and close it. Prepare all the remaining sandwiches in the same manner. Cut it diagonally before serving and relish it.

Spinach And Corn Sandwich


Ingredients -
 

Spinach (palak) - 1 cup blanched and coarsely ground
Corn (soft and tender) - 1/2 cup
Onion chopped - 1
Garlic minced - 4 cloves

Minced chillies - 2
Cheese grated - 1/2 cup
Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt - to taste
Oil - 3 tbsp
Butter - 2 tbsp + for frying
Bread Brown - 6



Method - 
  
Heat a frying pan with oil and put onions in it. When its light brown put garlic and saute a bit. Add corn, fry it for a while. Cover it and let it simmer until it is cooked.
Add the salt, chilli, pepper  and spinach and fry it until all are mixed nicely and the raw taste is gone from the spinach and its cooked.
Remove from heat and mix the grated cheese and butter in it.
Now take the bread remove the edges and spread the mix on it, sandwich it with other bread and press it softly. Prepare all, heat a tawa and put some butter and fry the sandwich lightly on both the sides and serve it hot. You can grill it on a sandwich toaster also.
